Llanrumney Master Chef – The RESULTS

Congratulations to all those that took part in Master Chef, the
competition was tough with all nine pupils creating dishes of excellent
quality.
The judging team which included the Head Teacher had the daunting task of
selecting a winner. It was a close contest with Chloe from Year 8 claiming
the Master Chef title with her superb lemon chicken, homemade chips and homemade tomato sauce.
Chloe will go on to represent Llanrumney High School in the next round of the competition which will take place in November.
Best of luck!

Litter Picking

Last week quite a small group of people were chosen to do litter picking on ‘the tidy up wales week’. The group of people chosen were given litter pickers, gloves and carrier bags to carry around with them whilst we went around the local area tidying up as much litter as possible; this was quite interesting as we got to see how much litter people actually dropping.

Crows Paws

Crows Paws

Crows paw is a performing arts group which includes dancing, singing and acting which takes part after school at quarter past 4 till 6.
This group is run by Miss Pawsey our music teacher and Kris Our Dance teacher.
Pupils from other schools come to join in as well; we usually take parts from productions such as ‘wizard of Oz’ and ‘Annie’ and perform ourselves through either dance singing or acting.
This group is very fun and exciting, suitable for pupils aged approximately 8-16 years of age.
